The accepted botanical name of this fern is quite confusing. Publications from Singapore [1-3] tend to use Amphineuron opulentum. However, The Plant List website has treated Amphineuron opulentum as a synonym of Amblovenatum opulentum.
Both Flora of China website and Thailand fern website treated Amphineuron opulentum as the synonym of Cyclosorus opulentus. The Plant List website also treated Cyclosorus opulentus as an accepted name. The confusion being that the Plant List website treated both Amblovenatum opulentum and Cyclosorus opulentus as accepted names.
