A Guide to the Wildflowers of Singapore

In 1985, Singapore Science Centre published a small booklet Wildflowers guide titled "A Guide to the Wildflowers of Singapore". The pictures of wildflowers shown in this page are those mentioned in the booklet. The common names are enclosed in brackets. Over the years, some of the botanical names indicated in the booklet have changed. I have used the latest accepted botanical names instead. The changes are listed in the table at the bottom of this page.

The book has since gone through a few reprints and is still available in bookstore as of this writing. However, no change has been made to the content since its first publication although the image on the book cover has changed.

In case you are interested in floral arrangements rather than wildflowers, this article by Flowers and Kisses may be of interested to you: A Guide to Flowers and The Joys of Making Your Own Floral Arrangements.
